It is believed that whoever unravels the inscriptions will reportedly be able to open the door to the treasure. The activity of opening this doorway was once done by the British using their cannon balls. The result was that the British were unsuccessful and they only managed to leave a huge black mark on the wall which is still visible.

What is the secret of the hanging pillar – Virbhadra Temple (Andhra Pradesh)

The Veerabhadra Temple is a splendid specimen of the Vijayanagara Empire’s architectural style and apart from its striking features such as the colossal Nandi idol, fresco paintings and carvings, its hanging pillars arouse curiosity in everyone’s mind. In all, the temple has 70 pillars. However, unlike the others, one of them does not come into contact with the ground. It is believed that the blessings of the pillar can be obtained by sliding something on the bottom.
